Some of Mr. Peluso’s civil rights and employment litigation successes include:
- Successfully resolving a sexual harassment/hostile work environment/age discrimination case on behalf of a Hispanic female police officer in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey for a six-figure settlement to his client.
- Successfully resolving a wrongful termination/breach of executive employment contract matter brought in a private arbitration by his CEO client for a six-figure settlement.
- Obtaining a $3.8 million-dollar jury verdict on behalf of six former Passaic County police officers in an LAD age discrimination case, Brown v. County of Passaic, PAS-L-1210-10, that, after appeal, became a final $4.1 million judgment in favor of his clients after being upheld in the Appellate Division (2014 WL 2533768) and in the New Jersey Supreme Court in Brown v. County of Passaic, 220 N.J. 41 (2014).
- Successfully resolving a CEPA claim for three corrections officers for a six-figure settlement in 2020.
- Obtaining a $1.2 million-dollar settlement in 2017 on behalf of a Hispanic female police officer subjected to gender discrimination and sexual harassment in the case of Rastatter v. Diaz, et al., PAS-L-2858-13.
- Obtaining a $3.92 million-dollar settlement in 2019 on behalf of seven Princeton police officers in a sexual orientation, hostile work environment and retaliation case, Papp, et al. v. Dudeck, et al., MER-L-1836-13.
- Obtaining a $1.8 million-dollar jury verdict on behalf of a veteran subjected to anti-military discrimination in Hagel v. Davenport, et al., MON-L-1532-14, that became a $2.2 million-dollar final judgment in 2020.
